Each main pump shall be equipped with a device to ensure a continuous flow of water through the pump, sufficient to prevent overheating when operating with the discharge closed. The discharge of the circuits shall be clearly visible and where there is more than one pump the discharges of the circuits shall be separate. It must be installed in a shunt on the delivery manifold. Kits are suitable for both 1-pump and 2-pump units.
